All ABout Your Bow Tech

Hey, I’m Cody — the hands behind Bridger Bowworks.

I’ve been working on bows since I was a teenager, and over the years that’s turned into something a lot bigger than just a hobby. I’ve spent time in multiple bow shops learning the ins and outs of the trade, and most recently served as the lead technician at Straight 6 Archery in Bozeman for five years. Now at 25, I’ve already had the chance to work on a wide range of setups and help archers at every level get the most out of their equipment.

When Straight 6 Bozeman closed its doors, I knew I wasn’t ready to walk away from the work or the people I’ve built relationships with. That’s what led me to start Bridger Bowworks — a way to keep doing what I care about and continue serving the archery community here in Bozeman.

At Bridger Bowworks, I focus on service and tuning work that’s built around you. Every bow is different, and every archer is too. I take the time to understand your setup, your goals, and how your bow should feel — then work through the details to get everything dialed in the right way.

I’m also a bit of an archery nerd — I genuinely enjoy the fine details, the problem-solving, and the process of squeezing the best performance out of every setup. That curiosity and attention to detail is what drives the quality of my work.

Customer service is a huge part of how I do business. I believe you should feel confident in your equipment and comfortable asking questions, understanding your setup, and knowing the work was done right. No shortcuts, no rushed jobs — just honest, detail-focused work.

Right now, this is a part-time business while I finish my last year of school, followed by student teaching, with graduation set for December 2027. After that, I plan to teach — but archery and bow work will always be a part of my life.

When I’m not in the shop or studying, I’m at home with my wife Jamie and our two dogs, Stella and Arrow — who, despite the name, still hasn’t figured out what a bow is.

If you’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about your setup, I’d be glad to help.
